Gillian Chandler, Program Associate, joined AHF in 2023. As a climber with a degree in international relations, Gillian is thrilled to combine two of her interests and contribute to AHF’s mission of helping people in the Himalaya. Gillian has an M.S.W. and a B.A. from the George Washington University and has years of experience across the public and nonprofit sectors. When not dangling from a mountainside, she can be found spending time with her wife and menagerie of pets.
