Emergency Relief for Tibetan Refugees

AHF has supported Tibetans living in exile for the past four decades.

Whether born in a camp or having fled oppression in their homeland, life is not easy for Tibetan refugees, stateless and restricted from having jobs or traveling.

And now, in the wake of recent cuts to U.S. government aid, the Tibetan community faces fresh concerns over access to food, medical care, housing and education.

“For 40 years, AHF has stood by the Tibetan community in exile. Today, they need us more than ever. And we need you.” – Norbu Tenzing, AHF Vice President

How Does AHF Help?

We work with every camp in Nepal and settlements in northeastern India, providing housing and support for indigent elders, funding for cooperatives that give refugees a way to earn a living, and for nunneries that keep Buddhist faith alive.

It’s in our DNA to help Tibetans in their struggle to survive and maintain their culture. And they respond with dignity and heartfelt gratitude.

A Lifeline in Uncertain Times

Please join us by supporting our emergency relief effort for the Tibetan refugee community. Your help is really needed in this difficult time.  And, thanks to a generous donor, your gift will be matched (up to $50,000).

We join the many Tibetans in deep appreciation for your kindness.
